The Single Serve Cup That Will Change The World
With increasing consumer convenience and coffee consumption worldwide, the explosive growth of single serve packaging and single serve coffee cups inevitably brings with it equally explosive growth in consumer waste.
The sustainability of oil based and/or non-renewable materials based packaging is thus a seriously questionable proposition with the environmental impact in mind for our delicate planet.
Thus, we have developed an alternative single serve packaging/single serve coffee cup which is manufactured from biobased material (sugar) and which is compostable after use in municipal waste streams. In this way, we can enjoy a guilt-free cup of coffee with the start of our day without harming the environment and in the process, contribute to a circular economy in an environmentally responsible manner.

By utilizing the glucose derived from a fraction of the worldwide sugar cane and sugar beet crops (a non primary food source), we are able to produce a range of biobased polyesters which can be used to produce home compostable, industrially compostable or simply sustainable biobased consumer products.
